IMPORTANT NOTICE ON GMCI "STOP" SIGN
Dear GMCI Shareholders,
During the last week, GMCI's management has received numerous questions from its shareholders regarding the "Stop" sign that now appears on GMCI's profile on OTC Markets.
First of all, GMCI wants you to understand that trading in GMCI's shares is still taking place on OTC Markets Pink Sheets. There has been no interruption in the trading of GMCI's shares. OTC Markets uses the Stop Sign to alert potential investors that the issuer has not made publicly available its financial information as of the most recent quarterly period. OTC Markets also uses a "Yield" sign to identify issuers that have made limited financial information publicly available.
Second, OTC Markets' placement of the Stop Sign on GMCI's profile is the result of a new rule that OTC Markets put into effect on March 9, 2017
. The effect of this rule is that if an issuer's most recently filed financial statements are dated more than six (6) months ago, then a Stop sign will be posted on that issuer's profile.
For example, if an issuer's most recently filed financial statements are dated as of September 30, 2016, then as of April 1, 2017, that issuer will receive a Stop sign.
GMCI's management and its outside professional service providers are using every effort to prepare and file with the Securities & Exchange Commission its financial statements up through the period ended December 31, 2016, as quickly as possible. As an indication of GMCI's efforts, please note that GMCI has complete the filing of the following reports with the SEC earlier this week or will be filed before the end of this week:
- Form 8-K that included audited financial statements of GMCI's subsidiary SBS Mining Corporation (M) Sdn. Bhd. and pro forma financial statements.
- Quarterly Report on Form 10-Q for the quarter ended June 30, 2015.
- Quarterly Report on Form 10-Q for the quarter ended September 30, 2015.
As you can see, GMCI is quickly making strides towards becoming completely current in its reporting obligations. While GMCI cannot commit to a date that it will be current, GMCI does commit to its shareholders that it will continue to use every reasonable effort and act in a completely professional manner to make publicly available its financial statements as of the most recently completed fiscal quarter.
Kindly note. Thank you.
